Didn't feel enough for kite so lugged 125l/7,5m to water, but short tides so only 100m even at Low. Just about planed, (am still amazed how gear gets going in light winds). Thinking I was picking up wind accelerating round headland stayed close to shore, and sure enough wind died further out. Nevertheless, went thought light-wind area and further out there was more wind and nicely powered as wind increased.
After a couple of hours interested to see Matt out on foil with 5.2m. In stronger gusts he was going well and keeping some gybes without dipping in. When wind eased before I packed up he could no longer fly so easily but interestingly I could still plane.
